About Printer Quest
Printer Quest publishes printer reviews written from the manufacturer’s own published specifications and documentation. We do not physically test printers, and every review says so.
What this site is
A printer listing gives you a pages-per-minute figure, a resolution, a monthly duty cycle, a tray capacity and a list of connections, and leaves you to work out whether any of it matters for what you print. The reviews here take one model at a time and read those numbers for what they imply: whether a 20 ppm laser is fast enough for a shared office, whether a 4,800 dpi photo inkjet is wasted on text, whether a duty cycle of 1,000 pages a month is a warning rather than a boast.
The site covers all-in-one, laser, inkjet, photo and label, thermal & portable printers. Each review sits in one of those categories, and the categories are what the navigation is built around.
What we do not do
We do not unbox printers, run print tests, measure noise, or time first-page-out. No printer described here has printed a page for us. A review on this site is a reading of what the manufacturer publishes, written for someone deciding whether that model fits their work, and we would rather say that plainly than imply hands-on experience we do not have.
We do not publish star ratings, review counts, or exact prices. Where a manufacturer has not published a specification, a review says so instead of guessing.
Who writes this
Noah Sullivan, Editor, is the byline on every review. Noah is an editorial name rather than a person you could look up, and we would rather say so than let a fabricated biography do work it has not earned. There are no trade credentials behind it, and there should not be: a site that states on every page that it does not test printers has no business presenting an expert as its author.
What stands behind a review is the method, which is written down, and the manufacturer’s published figures, which you can check.
What changed in 2026
For its first two years this site reviewed whatever appeared under a printer search, which meant toner cartridges, label rolls, dust covers, power cords and printer stands were reviewed alongside printers. In September 2026 we went through all 1,098 pages and removed 495 from search — consumables, accessories, parts, and a handful of products that were not printers at all. The 603 pages that remain are printers. The removed pages still exist for anyone who arrives at them, but they are no longer what this site is about and we no longer ask search engines to index them.

Corrections
If a specification in a review is wrong — the manufacturer restated it, the listing changed, or we misread it — it is worth more to us to know than to look right. The contact page says what makes a correction actionable.
